Contest Rules
Mountainchill ("the Station") occasionally gives away CDs, event tickets, and other promotional items to members in call-in or e-mail based contests.
No purchase is necessary. Void where prohibited. All federal, state, and local regulations apply.
Employees, agents and affiliates of Brown Mountain Broadcasting LLC, contest sponsors, or other mass media (including newspapers, radio, and television stations) and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in Station contests.
"Immediate family members" includes spouses, parents, siblings, children, and other members of the household.
Contests are open only to persons who are 18 years of age or older, except some specific contests which are only open to persons who are 21 years of age or older.
Listeners are eligible to win contests once every (60) sixty days. Only one winner per household is permitted in any contest.
Contest winners will be selected by and at the Station in its sole discretion. In the event of a tie, the winner will be determined at the sole discretion of the Station. In the unlikely event that an eligible winner cannot be found, then the prize will go un-awarded.
All taxes and fees including State, Local, Federal and other taxes and fees are the sole responsibility of the winner.
The Station takes no responsibility for dialing delays or phone system malfunctions. The station takes no responsibility for e-mail malfunctions or e-mail
delays.
To enter a random-call in contest, call the station listener line at 888-948-1640 when instructed on-air to call. A designated caller may be taken. If a trivia question was asked, you must also supply the correct answer in order to win.
To enter an on-line e-mail contest, winners may be required to provide their first name and last name, complete address,
city, state, zip code, and home telephone
number within 24 hrs. of being notified of winning (by e-mail) or forfeit their prize. This information must be sent from the same
e-mail address used to enter. One entry per person unless
otherwise stated. E-mail entries must be made by the authorized holder of the e-mail address used for submission at the time of entry. If a trivia question
was asked, you must also supply the correct answer in order to win. If a specific subject line was asked for, you must also supply the correct subject line.
KRKQ is not responsible for winner's loss of or failure to receive e-mail.
To enter a contest held on the Mountain Chill Facebook Page, you may need to enter your name as a comment. Winners must provide a
first name and last name, complete address, city, state,
zip code, and home telephone number within 24 hrs. of being notified of winning (to be sent via Facebook Messenger) or forfeit the
prize. One entry per person unless otherwise stated. Entries must be
made by the authorized holder of the Facebook account used for submission at the time of entry. KRKQ is not responsible for winner's
loss of or failure to receive Facebook Messenger messages.
Mountainchill.com is not responsible for any technical difficulties experienced such as streaming delays, busy signals, loss of phone service, or any other factor that may prevent completing a phone call, sending or receiving an email, accessing the Station website, or for any technical problems that may impact entry or participation in claiming a prize.
Delivery methods are at Station's discretion. Winners may be required to pick up prizes or prize certificates at the Mountain Chill Studios in Ouray, CO or
they may be required to pick up tickets at event "will-call." Any
prize or prize certificate not claimed within (30) days of winning will be forfeited by the winner. If delivery by mail, payment of postage by winner may be
required and winner assumes the risk of its arrival. Prizes will be released to winners only. Event tickets not claimed at event will-call will be forfeited
by the winner. Winners may be required to present a valid ID.
The Station shall not be responsible for any failure of the sponsor to deliver the prize or any part of the prize. With respect to event prizes, Station and Sponsors are not responsible for canceled, rescheduled or delayed events.
All participants and winners agree that the Station shall have no liability for any injury, misfortune, or damage to either persons or property incurred by entering, participating in, winning, or losing any contest and/or by the use or non-use of any prize received in connection with Contests.
Certain contest may be limited by geography. For example, some contests my be limited to residents of the local 95.5 FM listening area as determined by the Station's 60 dBu countour.
Contest prizes are not transferable.
Prizes may not be substituted for or redeemed for cash or other prizes. Prizes are "as-is."
Contest participants are, unless otherwise noted, subject to the station Privacy Policy.

Station reserves the right to alter these contest rules at any time. Complete and current contest rules are available at the Station studios at 331 Sixth Ave #3 in Ouray, CO during normal business hours and online at www.mountainchill.com.
Additional Rules for Telluride Jazz Festival: Must be 18 years of age or older to win. Entry is by e-mail and Facebook only. SBG Productions will send tickets directly to the
winner.

We provide links to some third-party pages. On some third-party pages you can order products. (Examples of such third-party websites include
our shop at Spreadshirt). When visiting or ordering products through a third-party website, the Privacy Policy and terms of the third-party site applies.
Our page may contain links to third party sites. Third party sites that we link to include (but are not limited to) Facebook, Twitter, Mixcloud, and
RadioColation (our stream player), and Spreadshirt (our store). The Privacy Policy and terms of the third-party site applies to such links.
We will never intentionally place trackers on the mountainchill.com website. We do not collect any information on people who visit this web page other than referral information we may receive if
you arrived here from an external site (i.e. search engine or ad link). This website's Bootstrap and jQuery frameworks are hosted locally. No graphics, images, fonts, browser code, etc. are
linked from this page to any domains other than our own (mountainchill.com). We periodically verify that our page is tracker-free according to DuckDuckGo. Third-party
sites may contain trackers and may use cookies. We use cookies only to facilitate a login session on our site.
The Way We Use Information:
As per federal law and in accordance with our FCC license, e-mails and written correspondence received after our FM signal, KRKQ, went on the air on October
5, 2011 may be placed in the "Public Inspection File," of KRKQ, Mountain Village, CO. This correspondence includes e-mail. Return addresses may be viewable by
those who view our public inspection file. The Station may choose to make the Public Inspection File available online and may share its contents publicly.
We use return e-mail addresses to answer the e-mail we receive (including contest related e-mails) and return e-mail addresses may also appear in any e-mails
placed in our federally mandated Public Inspection File. These addresses will not be sold. However they may be viewed publicly.
You can register with our website if you would like to use added features such as bookmarking your favorite music and receiving updates on our offerings. These extra features will not be available unless you fill out the registration form.
We use non-identifying and aggregate information to better design our website and to share with advertisers. For example, we may tell an advertiser how many individuals visited a certain area on our website, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.
We reserve the right to read over the air the following material: written correspondence, e-mails sent to dj (at) mountainchill.com, public posts on
our Facebook page, and messages addressed to us on Twitter or Mixcloud. Unless permission is obtained in advance, whenever written correspondence, e-mails, or
posts are shared on-air, we will use only non-personally identifying information. Typically only a first name and geographic region (if known/available) are
used to identify the author.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also
providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
